Wills for Seniors clinics are a coordinated effort between the Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA), Delaware Volunteer Legal Services (DVLS), and Delaware Paralegal Association (DPA), designed to provide free legal estate planning services to eligible senior citizens in Delaware. The senior citizens meet with volunteer attorneys who draft a basic will, advanced medical directive, and power of attorney. These documents will be prepared onsite, executed, and finalized the same day.
DPA volunteers are needed for notarizing, witnessing, and if necessary, drafting assistance. Breakfast & lunch are provided.
The event runs from 10:30am to 3:00pm.
Remember, for every 3 hours of legal-based pro bono work, you receive 1 DPA CLE credit towards renewing your DCP certification.
