2018 Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition

The DPA is looking for volunteers to assist with the two day 2018 Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition.

We are looking for volunteers who can act as runners (delivering scores to event judges) and courtroom bailiffs. It's a fun volunteer event at the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington.

Available sessions are:

Friday, February 23, 2018

  • Morning: 8:30 am to 12:00 noon
  • Afternoon: 12:45 pm to 5:00 pm

Saturday, February 24, 2018

  • Morning: 8:00 am to 11:30 am
  • Afternoon: 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Members may sign up for individual sessions or all day.  Light breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Remember, for every 3 hours of legal-based pro bono work, you receive 1 DPA CLE credit towards renewing your DCP certification.

*Student Special: Any paralegal/legal studies student who participates in two sessions qualifies for a free student DPA membership until June 30th. **Subject to Board approval & must submit DPA application by March 1, 2018 (use code MockTrial)**
